Mayor Pro Tem Sara Loflin presented the proposal to remove Zuniga and Luthi from the commission.
Trustees Brandon Bell and Andrew Sawusch voted against removal, while Mayor Justin Brooks was not in attendance.
The board voted 4-2 in favor of expulsion. The Erie Board of Trustees voted to remove Planning Commission Chair Kelly Zuniga and Vice Chair Jim Luthi from their seats during Tuesday night’s meeting.
